An Empire Express tractor-trailer running a rural two-lane road past green fields

Our Lanes

Five lanes, with what each one pays and where each one runs. Compare them here, then read the one that fits.

How to pick

Start with where you live, not with the biggest number.

The lane that pays the most per week is the lane that keeps you out the longest, and that is not a coincidence — it is the trade. If you are within reach of Memphis, west Memphis or Blytheville, the dedicated flatbed runs a day rate on a tight footprint. If you are in east Texas or the Arkansas delta, regional flatbed was built around exactly those towns. If you are in the Ohio Valley or the Southeast, Spectrum covers more ground than anything else we run. If none of that fits and you want miles, OTR van is the one.

The cards below carry the same pay figures as the lane pages, read from one source, so the card and the page cannot disagree.

Five ways to run

Pay, home time and hiring area for every lane we are hiring in. The numbers on these cards are the same numbers on the lane pages — they are read from one place.

What comes with the seat

The same in every lane. If something differs by lane, it is on that lane's page, not buried here.

Assigned trucks
You get a truck and it stays yours. No slip-seating, no walking out to a different cab every week.
Medical, dental and vision
Full medical through UnitedHealthcare, plus dental, vision, life and AD&D.
Disability, company paid
Short-term and long-term disability, both paid by Empire. Not offered — paid.
401(k) with a company match
Retirement plan with an employer match.
Vacation pay
Paid vacation.
Pets and riders
A pet policy and a rider policy, because a truck you live in should hold whoever lives in it with you.

Start with a phone call

Nine questions. A recruiter calls you back, and you decide from there whether you want to fill out a full application. We do not need your Social Security number to have a conversation.

A recruiter will call you about this application. We do not send marketing texts.

This decides which lanes can actually get you home. It is the single most useful thing you can tell us.

Empire Express, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer. Submitting this form does not create an application for employment and is not a background check authorization — those come later, in writing, with your consent.
