Open deck is a skill
Anybody can pull a box. Flatbed is different work — you are responsible for the load staying on the trailer, and that responsibility does not come off when the weather does. Chains, straps, edge protection, tarps in February.
If that is not the job you want, we run van lanes and there is no shame in taking one. If it is, this is a lane where the skill is worth money: seventy-five cents a mile, fourteen hundred to two thousand a week, and three thousand dollars in sign-on money.
Where you run
Memphis and Covington in Tennessee. Wynne in Arkansas. Tunica in Mississippi. Shreveport in Louisiana. And a real footprint in east Texas — Houston, Sulphur Springs, Texarkana, Lufkin and Nacogdoches.
That list is the lane. If you live in one of those places, this is the seat that was built for where you already are.
The truck
An assigned 2024 or 2025 Peterbilt 579, a 2027 Volvo VNL, or a 2027 Freightliner Cascadia. It is yours and it stays yours. We do not slip-seat.
