Percentage pay

Spectrum pays a percentage of line haul rather than a rate per mile. That is a different bargain from the mileage lanes and it suits a different driver. When the freight is good you are not capped by an odometer. When it is not, you feel that too. Drivers who like this lane tend to be the ones who want to know what the load did, not just how far it went.

Twenty-eight percent is the base. A performance bonus of two to four points sits on top of it, so the number a driver actually runs at is somewhere between twenty-eight and thirty-two. The weekly range is the highest we publish: eighteen hundred to twenty-four hundred.

Where you run

The widest area we have. Kentucky, southern Illinois and Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Maryland, the Carolinas, Georgia and Florida.

The truck

An assigned 2026 or 2027 Freightliner Cascadia. Yours, and it stays yours. We do not slip-seat.

What comes with it

Full medical through UnitedHealthcare, plus dental, vision, life and AD&D. Short-term and long-term disability, company paid. A 401(k) with a company match. Paid vacation. A pet policy and a rider policy.

What comes with the seat

The same in every lane. If something differs by lane, it is on that lane's page, not buried here.

Assigned trucks
You get a truck and it stays yours. No slip-seating, no walking out to a different cab every week.
Medical, dental and vision
Full medical through UnitedHealthcare, plus dental, vision, life and AD&D.
Disability, company paid
Short-term and long-term disability, both paid by Empire. Not offered — paid.
401(k) with a company match
Retirement plan with an employer match.
Vacation pay
Paid vacation.
Pets and riders
A pet policy and a rider policy, because a truck you live in should hold whoever lives in it with you.

Talk to a recruiter about Spectrum

Nine questions. A recruiter calls you back, and you decide from there whether you want to fill out a full application. We do not need your Social Security number to have a conversation.

A recruiter will call you about this application. We do not send marketing texts.

This decides which lanes can actually get you home. It is the single most useful thing you can tell us.
