Two numbers, and which one applies to you
Seventy-five percent of line haul if you pull your own trailer. Sixty-seven percent if you pull ours. That is the whole structure and it is not complicated on purpose — an owner-operator is running a business and needs to be able to do the arithmetic before the conversation, not after it.
What we are not going to do here
We are not going to publish a “you could earn” number.
Every owner-operator’s take-home depends on their own cost structure — what the truck is worth, what it costs to run, what they carry in insurance, what fuel does that month. A carrier that puts a big annual figure on a recruiting page is quoting you a number built out of somebody else’s assumptions, and you have no way to check which ones. The percentage is the fact. The rest of the math is yours, and you are better at it than we would be.
If you want to work it through against real freight, call recruiting and ask what the lanes are actually paying. That is a more useful conversation than a headline.
Getting settled
Weekly. Bring the tractor; we have trailers if you want one at the sixty-seven percent rate.
What comes with the seat
The same in every lane. If something differs by lane, it is on that lane's page, not buried here.
